Job OverviewThe Sourcing Lead will have responsibility to enhance sourcing and supply chain flexibility and complexity, building and executing category strategy and selecting suppliers who meet those criteria.The role carries overall responsibility for evaluating suppliers and negotiating price, quality, specification, and scope of services based on a category sourcing strategy.This highly cross‐functional role will proactively partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, NPD, Purchasing teams and suppliers to play a key role in process improvement and value creation.A Day In The LifePartner with Supply Chain to ensure continuity of supply.Lead dual‐/multi‐sourcing strategies to strengthen supply resilience, mitigate risk, tariffs, and drive savings.Implement lead‐time reduction strategies, including levers (Blanket POs, VMI, forecasting).
Commodity responsibility for electrical steel and magnet wire, including sourcing strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization.Drive cost reduction, productivity, and supplier performance improvements.Lead projects and manage sensitive supplier or operational issues.Support RFQs, supplier selection, and sourcing strategy execution.Rationalize and optimize the supply base in collaboration with Sourcing Managers.Manage strategic supplier relationships,



including risk and performance.Support NPI/NPX and cross‐functional project execution.Facilitate collaboration between suppliers and engineering teams to achieve project objectives.Deliver data‐driven insights, KPIs, and reporting to support decisions.Design, compile, and analyze data to support departmental decision‐making and strategic goals.Ensure effective sourcing processes, compliance, and system updates (e.g., PIR, MM, SL).
Deliver productivity improvements aligned with category strategies.Support vendor setup processes.Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.What will help you thrive in this role?
Experience with SAP and PowerBi strongly preferred.Experience in purchasing, KPIs creation, and reporting preferred.Advanced Excel knowledge.Must be highly self‐motivated.SAP experience is a must.Basic/Intermediate Microsoft Power BI is preferred.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.Three to Five years (+) previous Sourcing.Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain related field.Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team.Travel will be required 20%.
