About the Team and the Role

Our client is a leading digital financial services company that is transforming the way consumers access and manage financial products through innovation and technology. Their Strategy & Planning team is seeking a talented and analytical Strategy & Planning Manager to join the organization on a full-time basis in Mexico.

As a Strategy & Planning Manager, you will tackle complex business challenges, assess market opportunities, and contribute to initiatives that shape the future of financial services.

You will join a high-performing team focused on driving growth, innovation, and financial inclusion through a portfolio of digital financial products, including lending, payments, digital accounts, and credit solutions. The organization has established a strong presence in the Mexican market by providing accessible, user-friendly financial services that help individuals and businesses better manage their finances.

In this role, you will support strategic initiatives across multiple business lines, helping to identify growth opportunities, evaluate market trends, and influence key business decisions that drive long-term success.

Main Activities

- Industry Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify trends and opportunities that support strategic business objectives.
- Competitive Analysis:



Analyze fintech, banking, and digital financial services competitors to identify opportunities and potential risks.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor financial market developments, industry news, and emerging trends to generate actionable insights.
- Metrics Tracking: Evaluate and report on macroeconomic and industry metrics, providing recommendations that support business and commercial strategies.
- S trategy Communication: Help prepare clear and impactful business presentations that effectively communicate key findings to stakeholders.

Requirements:

- Bachelor' s degree in Finance, Management, International Business, or related fields. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not mandatory given equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in a related role.
- Solid analytical and market/company research capabilities.
- Proficient in curating information in a structured, clear, and presentable way.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Experience in the Fintech or banking industry is beneficial.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Keen interest in the Fintech industry.
- Team player with the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a diverse cultural environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Genuine interest in mentoring, coaching, and building a strong strategy team.
