About this opportunity
At Ericsson, we are shaping the future of connectivity. We are looking for a talented and ambitious Recovery Architect to join our Customer Support Organization in Mexico City.
This opportunity is designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals (up to 2 years of experience) who are passionate about technology, problem solving, and system architecture. As a Recovery Architect, you will work alongside highly experienced technical specialists, supporting customers across Mexico and the Caribbean in designing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and restoring complex end-to-end solutions. You will gain hands‑on exposure to cutting‑edge technologies including Cloud Infrastructure, Virtualization, IP Networking, Linux, Databases, and Telecommunications Systems, while developing the skills and expertise needed for rapid career growth.
What you will do
- Support the design and development of customer solutions based on business and technical requirements, with a focus on IT/IP, cloud, VNFs and CNFs.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex, multi‑domain issues affecting customer networks and services, identifying dependencies and interactions across systems.
- Collaborate with customers, delivery organizations, support teams, and technical experts to gather, clarify, and document requirements and recovery strategies.
- Leverage existing technical documentation, reference architectures, and industry best practices to develop efficient and scalable solutions.
- Contribute to the definition of hardware, software, database, and virtual infrastructure requirements for customer deployments.
- Support solution adaptations and configurations in accordance with Ericsson standards, methodologies,
and product guidelines.
- Assist implementation, testing, system integration, and service recovery activities to ensure solution availability and operational excellence.
- Develop expertise in end‑to‑end network architectures, telecommunications systems, and emerging cloud‑native technologies.
The skills you bring
- Solid understanding of Linux Operating Systems.
- Strong knowledge of IP Networking and Databases.
- Experience with Virtualization and Cloud Technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, logs, traces, and system outputs.
- Passion for learning and understanding how complex systems interact across multiple technology domains.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Customer‑first attitude with strong ownership and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive issues through resolution.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
- English (Advanced – Mandatory) written and spoken proficiency, required for daily interaction with customers across Mexico and the Caribbean and collaboration with integral teams and business units.
