As a Consultant at Deloitte, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for supporting the overall project goals and objectives. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. It is expected that you will be able to perform independent tasks as well as provide technical guidance to team members, as needed.
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI pipelines using Google Cloud Vertex AI, including custom training jobs, AutoML, and Vertex AI Pipelines.
Build and support end-to-end ML workflows on Vertex AI, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring.
Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Vertex AI solutions.
Use Vertex AI Feature Store, Model Registry, and Vertex AI Workbench to help operationalize and manage ML assets.
Integrate Vertex AI services with other GCP offerings such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
Monitor deployed models for drift and performance degradation; configure alerts and retrain pipelines as needed.
Contribute to documentation, best practices, and internal knowledge sharing across the team.

Required
3-5 years of consulting and/or industry experience
Completion of course of study/Egresado in Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering, or any pertinent field or industry, or equivalent years of experience.
Advanced
English level
2+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying ML models on Google Cloud Vertex AI.
Proficiency in Python for model development, data processing, and pipeline orchestration.
Solid understanding of supervised and unsupervised ML techniques and MLOps principles.
Experience with GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and IAM.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred
GCP Professional Machine Learning Engineer or Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
Experience with Kubeflow Pipelines or Vertex AI Pipelines for workflow orchestration.
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working in client-facing consulting engagements.
Knowledge of MLflow or other experiment tracking frameworks.
Understanding data governance and responsible AI practices.
