Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sourcing Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.Reporting to the Director, Commodity Sourcing, Sourcing Manager role involves responsible for seeking metal supplies and managing the complete project process.You will be in charge of design reviews and manage resources with the site.What a typical day looks like:Strategic Sourcing:- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for various metals (e.G., steel, aluminum, copper, nickel, titanium) aligned with business objectives.- Monitor general metal markets, price trends, and geopolitical risks to proactively manage procurement risks and opportunities.- Identify and qualify new suppliers to ensure a competitive, reliable, and sustainable supply base.Supplier Management:- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key metal suppliers, mills, and trading houses.- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations.- Collaborate with quality, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure compliance with material specifications and delivery requirements.Cost and Risk Management:- Track and analyze commodity pricing trends, forecast cost impacts, and recommend hedging strategies if applicable.- Lead cost-reduction initiatives through supplier development, alternative materials, and process improvements.- Mitigate risks related to supply disruptions, tariffs, regulatory changes,
