Overview:
**Join our team as a Production Planner!
**
In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Production Planning Supervisor to create and manage schedules for subassemblies and finished products,
ensuring we meet our production targets plans.
You will also collaborate with the Warehouse Team to ensure finished goods are shipped to their correct destinations.
Become a crucial part of our operations and help drive our success!
**Responsibilities**:
1. Interpret and release work orders according to production schedules
2. Establishes a sequence of work to be carried out in the production areas, based on the priority of the requirements, delays in customer orders and production schedules
3. Balance schedule and keep records of workload in each department
4. Analyzes computer reports to identify material shortages and generate your request and/or shipment if applicable
5. Anticipates the promise dates to determine possible failures in compliance with them and take corrective actions in a timely manner
6. Prepare several reports regarding orders in process, on-time deliveries.
7. Investigates the status and reasons for open orders and/or discrepancies in the production order system and requests corrections as soon as required
8. Expedite materials to facilitate compliance with production schedules
9. Performs various functions related to the assigned work
10.
Carry out together with the Production team the analysis of the root cause in the solution of the problems presented in Production to give the appropriate corrective action and if it applies preventive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Over three years of experience.
- Bilingual in English / Spanish with proficiency at 85% or more, capable of making presentations in English, attending meetings, and maintaining continuous communication with suppliers and corporate staff in English.
- Proficiency in SAP is essential.
- Data Analysis / Root Cause Analysis.
- More than 3 years of experience in production scheduling, shipping, and materials management.
- Leadership Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong communication and decision-making abilities
- Capable of working towards achieving objectives with mínimal supervision
