**Role Purpose**:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead Corning's digital transformation in the LATAM region while fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and inclusivity.
As Regional Digital & IT Leader, you will play a critical role in building and managing our IT operations, driving alignment between technological initiatives and business priorities, and leading talented IT professionals to deliver innovative and high-quality support across D⁢ service lines.
Based in Monterrey, Mexico, you'll oversee the development of the LATAM Competency Hub, champion financial optimization strategies, foster strong partnerships with regional business leaders, and implement global D⁢ initiatives that advance Corning's purpose of creating life-changing innovations.

**Build and Lead**: Develop and manage the LATAM Competency Hub, hiring, mentoring, and empowering IT talent in Monterrey and Reynosa to support Corning's D⁢ service lines.
**Drive Financial Optimization**: Collaborate with TechOps FinOps leadership to optimize IT-related costs across the enterprise, ensuring maximum value from technology investments, with a focus on governance and compliance.
**Foster Business Alignment**: Partner closely with Corning's business divisions in the region to ensure D⁢ initiatives are aligned with strategic priorities and foster strong relationships with business leaders.
**Champion Innovation**: Support the rollout of global D⁢ initiatives, drive cross-plant collaboration, and promote best practices among regional IT hub leaders.
**Protect Assets**: Ensure IT security measures are robust and compliant with corporate policies, safeguarding Corning's digital infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **LATAM Competency Hub Development**:
- Build and lead the IT organization in Mexico, specifically in Monterrey and Reynosa, to support Corning's Digital & IT (D⁢) service lines.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of IT professionals,



fostering their growth and aligning their skills with D⁢ requirements.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity within the LATAM Competency Hub.
- **Financial Optimization Leadership**:
- Partner with TechOps FinOps leadership to optimize IT-related costs across the enterprise, ensuring maximum value from technology investments while maintaining strong governance and compliance.
- Leverage expertise in financial analysis, cost optimization, and process improvement to support IT Financial Optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with platform operations, engineering, and implementation teams to monitor and align IT costs with business objectives.
- **Business Alignment and Strategy**:
- Act as a strategic partner to Corning's business divisions in the LATAM region, ensuring alignment between D⁢ initiatives and business priorities.
- Foster strong relationships with business leaders to understand and address ongoing initiatives, requirements, and challenges.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver effective resource solutions that meet regional and general objectives.
- **Global and Regional D⁢ Initiatives**:
- Support the rollout of global D⁢ initiatives by working closely with plant IT staff in the region to ensure successful implementation.
- Sponsor and promote cross-plant initiatives and best practice sharing with other regional IT hub leaders, driving operational excellence and innovation.
