Accessibility TesterVirtualentAs an Accessibility Tester at Virtualent, you will be responsible for testing digital content against digital accessibility standards – set out by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
You will work closely with the QA Tester to ensure the quality and integrity of our internal products at Google.Key Responsibilities:Testing digital content against WCAG standardsUtilizing browser developer tools, debug logs, and ADB commandsUnderstanding of W3C standards‐compliant HTML and CSSTesting assistive technologies using iOS & Android devicesExperience with Web Accessibility Evaluation ToolsWorking with assistive technology for accessibility testing (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (OSX & iOS) and Android Talkback)Familiarity with Deque tools (aXe, Assure/Comply or Worldspace)Proficiency in using ChromeVox,
Voice over, and other assistive toolsTesting Mobile apps for accessibilityCreating documents and writing good bug reportsKnowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and iOS/Android development best practicesAdvanced proficiency in EnglishQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience as an Accessibility Tester or similar roleUnderstanding of WCAG standards and accessibility best practicesExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAttention to detail and problem‐solving skills
