As part of the General Communications team, you will join a large, diverse group of professionals focused on innovative communications with opportunities for career growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for supervising the execution of external communication planning and activities carried out by the communication agency that include preparation of press release, opinion articles, preparation of briefings, speeches, relationship with the press, success cases of customers and partners, relationship with opinion makers, monitoring of interviews and crisis management.
- Participation in weekly meetings with the communication agency to align activities.
- Alignment with the communication agency about what content should be published in the News Center.
- Relationship with press and content creators. Working with external agencies as needed.
- Strategic supplier Management & Management of Communications budget.
- Participation in weekly meetings with the internal communication team to ensure alignment of communication conducted externally and internally.
- Alignment of disclosures with the Microsoft Digital team whenever the topic is pertinent to be amplified on social networks.




- Periodic meetings with the team responsible for developing success cases to align the dissemination strategy and periodic contact with the executives responsible for the clients to obtain information about possible stories that may become success stories.
- Driving and executing events for press related to company news and recognitions, speaking engagements, etc. and understanding available channels, which channels to leverage, and what to advocate for in terms of messaging.
- Creates narratives based on messaging frameworks that drives content development and deployment. Includes agility in storytelling and crafting messages for executives.
- Follows established rhythm of business (e.g., cadence, intent, content to keep stakeholders informed and up to date).
- Support MX Board in the recommendations of engagement initiatives with key audiences. Develope materials and contributes ideas to develop and enhance the voice and platform of one or more executives.
- Monitors and tracks the impact of and responses to messaging within purview.
- Execute editorial strategy and calendar to support platform and alignment to goals of the business and desired outcomes or objectives for the executive(s).




- Assist in the preparation of materials for internal and external communications including briefing materials, scripting/messaging for internal keynotes, presentations, media engagements, social media, and events. Prepare spokespeople for press engagements.
- Participate in meetings with the regional communication team, exchange practices and generate synergies with other subsidiaries.
- Thinking about innovative actions that can amplify Microsoft's visibility in the press and with influencers.
**Qualifications**:
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years in Communications’ area, preferably in Corporate Communication or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of technology area (Software & Hardware).
- Knowledge of the business communication routine: communication planning, press release writing, opinion articles, have success cases, preparation of briefings, speeches, relationship with the press, activity reports and opinion makers and crisis management.
- Advanced written and spoken English level.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 8+ years in Communications’ area, preferably in Corporate Communication or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- Multidisciplinary team management.
- Knowledge of social media strategies and engagement with Content Creators.
