**Key Responsibilities**:
- Extensive experience in Mexico's Payments domain, covering Domestic and International Payments as well as other Global Transaction Banking (GTB) platforms.
- Expertise in Digital Channel solutions tailored for GTB Commercial clients.
- In-depth knowledge of **SPEI** and **SPID** payment systems, including process flows, user interfaces, and regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Comprehensive understanding of Payment Engine Processing, including validation rules, hand-offs to direct clearers, and accounting entries to core banking systems.
- Mastery of the corporate user journey from Digital Channels to direct clearers.
- Proficiency in Payment Processing functional modules such as:
- Straight-Through Processing (STP) and Non-STP flows.
- Debit and Credit accounting flows.
- Payment returns and reversals.
- Strong understanding of standard file formats, including **NACHA**, **ISO (PAIN & PACS)**, and **SWIFT**.
- Expertise in mapping and transforming payment file formats (e.g., MT to ISO, SPEI).
- Deep knowledge of Mexico's regulatory requirements for Payments and other GTB products, such as Tax Payments, Bill Payments, Supply Chain Financing (SCF), Liquidity, Cards, Investments,



and Loans. This includes governance and compliance reporting, bank audits, and client reporting.
- Skilled in documenting and defining new process flows, user journeys, and user stories from inception for various payment rails.
- Ability to identify and analyze business and operational challenges in Payments and GTB Processing, providing effective solutions.
- Document and recommend strategies to improve operational efficiencies in payment processing.
- Familiarity with key regulatory frameworks such as **PSD**, **AML**, and **OFAC**.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Hands-on experience in a leading bank’s operations team managing payment transactions or GTB operations.
- Background as a banker specializing in Payments or as a Business Analyst for top-tier banking clients in a leading IT firm.
- Proven analytical skills demonstrated through engagements with Tier 1 customers.
- Experience in large-scale solution design and implementation, with at least two successful projects.
- Knowledge of or experience with multiple Payment Schemes across the globe.
Pay: $300.00 - $335.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
