Operations Assistant Manager
On-site role Mon-Fri (w/1 hour lunch)

Within our organization, the Operations department works directly with terminals, rails, depots, motor carriers and suppliers in the region daily. Specifically, Operations is ensuring all equipment is in good order and moving timely. This is accomplished through the use of internal systems for planning and monitoring equipment flows, managing empties to booking ratios, ensuring empty availability for vessel repositioning, while making sure no equipment is idling in the region.

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage Supplier selection process through rate negotiation and subsequent evaluation ensuring OOCL internal rate systems are updated timely.
- Provide trade and sales with routing and cost options over multiple gateways or services. Processing and updating the QF195's.
- Auditing job order data for KPI compliance. primary contact point for rate verification and dispute.
- Assist in managing all aspects of Regional Operations for OOCL. (Terminals, Rails, Motor Carriers, Empty Flows, Suppliers, and Intermodal Shipments)
- Facilitate Terminal and Rail Operations with cross functional interaction on both import, export, and empty movements.
- Collaboration cross functionally on system development and process change to meet regional requirements.

**Qualifications**:
- Industry Knowledge
