The position defines the structure of the configuration management system including responsibility for ensuring that configuration data is available when and where it is needed to support other service management processes.
Supports all other departments as the records management expert, managing and maintaining all engineering network files. (e.g. Procedures, Work Instructions, Global Metrics, etc.)
Essential Functions:
- Works with management and the change control team to define, maintain and uphold documentation of policy and standards.- Day to day supervision of Component Engineering and Change Management groups.- Reviews supplier and product changes for accuracy and viability.



Works with engineering team as deem appropriate.- Coordinates and communicates with multiple business teams to determine priorities.- Capable of performing the duties of any Configuration Management role (e.g. Change Coordinator, Audit Release Analyst, Change Implementation Leader).- Manages backlog of supplier and product changes, coordinates and alerts management when due dates are compromised.
Must demonstrate the following:
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows Operating System.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capability and commitment to being a team player.
- The ability to work effectively and efficiently in an environment that requires a high level of responsiveness.
- Understanding of BOM structure and drawing architecture.
- The ability to manage multiple high priority projects.
- Must be willing to uphold the integrity and best practices of the configuration management process.
- Strong understanding of all functions of Configuration Management.
- English Advance
- Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree (Industrial Engineer preferred)
