We are looking for a **Senior.NET Developer with GeneXus Platform** experience to join our team. This role involves contributing to a long-term project for a U.S.based client in the automotive industry. You will work in a remote, collaborative environment, ensuring adherence to software development best practices, delivering high-quality software solutions, and supporting the client with their daily operations.
**Responsibilities**
- Participate in the development and support of a long-term software project in the automotive industry.
- Refactor and rewrite legacy code using modern technologies.
- Investigate and solve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with a distributed development team across different countries and time zones.
- Work closely with the client’s team across the West and East Coasts of the U.S., ensuring proactive communication and alignment on requirements.
**Requirements**:
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft.NET, including ASP.NET MVC and Web API.
- Experience working with the GeneXus low-code platform.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases.




- Experience working directly with clients.
- Experience maintaining and modernizing legacy code.
- Basic knowledge and interest in DevOps activities.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach when interacting with clients.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
**Nice to Have**
- Experience with Angular or other front-end frameworks.
- Experience with message queues (MSMQ, RabbitMQ, or Kafka).
- Knowledge of Hangfire for background job processing.
