Your Job:
As a Senior AQP Engineer within our CMSBU - NTW division, you will play a crucial role in our New Product Development Team. Your primary focus will be to guide the team in utilizing Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) for the development of innovative connectors and cables. You will champion the incorporation of lessons learned and challenge designs to eliminate known failure modes, ensuring robust predictive engineering analysis. Your expertise will support customer quality deliverables and address manufacturing challenges, driving the flawless launch of our new products.

Join a dynamic and collaborative team based in Guadalajara, MX, where you will work directly with cross-functional teams including AQP, MIE, PDE, and NPI, as well as project and product management. Our division is committed to innovative product development and ensuring high-quality standards for our customers and partners globally.
What You Will Do:
- Champion lessons learned and challenge new designs to eliminate known failure modes.
- Facilitate and provide expertise in the development of DFMEA's, PFMEA's, Control Plans, and Qualification Plans.
- Conduct root cause analysis and lead data statistical analysis to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
- Serve as a Customer Champion by providing onsite support to ensure a successful product launch.
- Partner with integral plant AQPs and suppliers to meet quality and timing goals for new products.
- Challenge and improve designs, testing procedures, tooling,
and methods to enhance product quality.
- Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and drive design reviews.
- Lead senior-level projects to enhance the AQP process, ensuring deliverables are met on time.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of engineering experience within the automotive industry, focusing on quality, AQP, or process/manufacturing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to anticipate, plan, and manage workload effectively.
- Proficient in statistical and data analysis, with strong leadership and facilitation skills.
- Professional level of English communication skills.
What Will Put You Ahead:
- ASQC Certification (CQE).
- 10 years of quality engineering experience with a focus on automotive connector/cable/harness manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of APQP processes and automotive quality systems.
- Experience with signal integrity testing, electrical Hi-Pot testing, and gage/fixture design.
- Understanding of IATF automotive standards and automotive OEM processes.
