**Quantitative Researcher Sr. Associate**
Your Team Responsibilities
The Analytics Research team is responsible for a range of solutions that provide transparency into financial markets and enable institutional investors to build better portfolios. Our solutions include fixed income and multi-asset class factor models, fixed income and derivative pricing models, risk simulations, performance attribution, liquidity, and regulatory solutions.
The team works closely with investment practitioners across the industry, including asset managers, hedge funds, banks, and asset owners. In addition, the team works closely with product management to define the vision and strategy for the analytics business.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough conceptual and practical understanding of the most important investment problems facing our client base
- Use this understanding to drive new research and product capabilities, guide implementation across multiple development teams
- Demonstrate thought leadership by conducting and publishing applied research on relevant and timely market developments
- Engage with clients in an advisory capacity; identify and support new commercial opportunities
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- Seniority for this role requires from 5-8 years of experience.
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a quantitative field.
- Meticulous attention to detail, along with the ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interest in empirical modeling and data science
- Willingness to work on prototypes in Python (desirable)
- Knowlege in production code in C++ (is must)
