**Position**: Head of Procurement
**Location**: Mexico City / Puebla
**Type of job**:Full time / presential.
**Position Objective**
The Head of Procurement will lead and manage the end-to-end procurement processes to ensure the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services essential for the development and execution of solar energy projects. This role is critical in identifying, evaluating, and developing strategic supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring the timely delivery of components such as photovoltaic panels, inverters, and related equipment. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Head of Procurement will align purchasing strategies with project timelines and company objectives, driving operational excellence and contributing directly to the success and sustainability of solar installations across Mexico.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supplier information collection and development work, supplier comparison, bargaining negotiation work, the evaluation of suppliers.
- Under the leadership of the department manager, responsible for material procurement work.
- New supplier information collection and development work, and preliminary evaluation.
- Purchasing plan compilation, ordering and delivery control, timely and reasonable arrangements for procurement.
**Profile Requirements**




- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree or above Business Administration, International Business, International Relations, Finance or related fields.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain functions.
- **Languages**:Intermediate or advanced English.
**Key knowledge**:
- Familiar with the bidding and procurement process.
- Familiar with supplier evaluation and assessment.
