**Key Responsibilities**
- Review specification (User Stories/Test plans/Test cases) and design documents (PDD’s/BRD’s/Process maps).
- Familiarity with backend testing (major part of the role) using various tools to test backend DB's, API's etc.
- Be familiar with User story and documentation structure.
- Creating Test cases, Test plans, User stories and bug tickets when needed
- Review and maintain test plans and test cases with the aid of developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.- Create a culture of transparency, ownership, collaboration, accountability, and quality
- Create regression tests, load tests and stress tests as well as execution.
- Keep automation of your test cases at the forefront of the product to help streamline testing later.
- Ability to think outside of the front end and consider negative test cases without diving too deep into things that provide no benefit to test (edge cases/extreme scenarios)
- Perform minor and major tests including end to end testing with proper documented feedback for the team
- Request test data sets to cover the pre-agreed test scenarios and manage this data to ensure it is still viable/usable at point of testing
- Key technologies that you will be testing include Salesforce, UiPath, Workato, Work relay, Web API’s, CRM’s.
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of experience as a QA tester




- Technical background is a must - have knowledge of code/software development/Automation frameworks, including Frontend and backend testing- Mid-advanced level familiarity with backend testing and tools.
- Familiarity with testing methodology e.g. Test cases, Test plans, Regression testing, Smoke testing, Sanity testing, end to end testing- Ability to understand the systems, translate specification documents and convert them to test document
- Ability to read code logically so that a bug ticket contains enough detail for developers
- Experience using Jira/Azure devops or the like- Be able to raise bug tickets and coherently/concisely express the ticket in an easy to understand manner.
- You will understand how to capture requirements and user stories for development
- Experience in an Agile and fast paced environment with multiple projects running concurrently
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to work autonomously
- Critical Thinking and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Automation project methodology would be advantageous
- You will have excellent reporting presentation skills
