About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Intellectual Property Paralegal to join our growing legal operations team. This remote position is based in Mexico and will support U.S.based attorneys with trademark casework, legal research, compliance tasks, and document management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track trademark filings, deadlines, and government correspondence
- Assist with drafting and organizing responses to USPTO Office Actions
- Conduct legal research related to U.S. trademark law and IP issues
- Draft or support responses to subpoenas and regulatory inquiries
- Assist in processing OFAC reviews and Data Subject Requests (DSRs)
- Maintain and organize documentation to support legal casework
- Communicate regularly with U.S.based attorneys and legal managers
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and legal operations processes
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant
- Background in intellectual property or trademark-related legal work
- Fluent in English (C1 or C2 level); strong written and verbal communication
- Legal research experience, particularly involving U.S. legal frameworks
- Organized, self-directed,



and able to manage tasks independently
- Familiarity with legal documentation and remote collaboration tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Education in law preferred; equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting USPTO filings or U.S. legal compliance
- Knowledge of OFAC regulations, GDPR, or data privacy standards
- Experience working with cross-border legal teams
- Comfort using cloud-based tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, or legal tech platforms
Compensation and Benefits
- Gross monthly salary: $28,350
- Full legal benefits under Mexican labor law
- Monthly food vouchers: $1,000 MXN
- 30 days Christmas bonus (Aguinaldo)
- 4% savings fund contribution
