**Position Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supply Chain Strategy & Execution**
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency, cost competitiveness, and supplier performance.
- Ensure alignment of supply chain processes with corporate objectives for production, quality, delivery, and financial performance.
**Procurement & Supplier Relationship Management**
- Lead sourcing, negotiation, and procurement activities to ensure reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective supply of raw materials, components, and services.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, driving performance improvement, risk mitigation, and long-term partnerships.
- Oversee supplier audits and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
**Inventory,
Materials, and Production Planning**
- Oversee materials planning and inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing excess and obsolescence while guaranteeing material availability for production.
- Collaborate with production, operations, and commercial teams to align demand forecasts, production schedules, and materials requirements.
- Utilize advanced planning systems (e.g., MRP/ERP) to optimize material flow and inventory accuracy.
**Logistics, Distribution, and Trade Compliance**
- Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing in compliance with Mexican and international trade regulations.
- Optimize logistics networks, transportation providers, and distribution strategies to support cost savings and timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with trade agreements such as IMMEX, NAFTA/USMCA, and all applicable import/export regulations.
**Performance Management & Continuous Improvement**
- Define, monitor, and report on key supply chain metrics, including cost, delivery, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate operational risks.
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues, implement best practices, and support operational excellence.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum **5 years** of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations management within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success managing supply chains in Mexico and/or Latin America, with strong knowledge of IMMEX, NAFTA/USMCA, and trade compliance.
- Expertise in ERP and supply chain management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Fluent in Spanish; strong command of English (written and verbal) is essential.
- Professional certifications (APICS CPIM, CSCP, Six Sigma, PMP) are highly desirable.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per month
