**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Android & iOS apps that interface with wearable devices.
Design test frameworks to validate NFC and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between mobile apps and wearables.
Create and execute test plans for sensor accuracy, data syncing, and firmware integration.
Collaborate with firmware, mobile, and backend teams to triage and resolve defects across platforms.
Perform end-to-end validation of wearable features such as step tracking, heart rate monitoring, GPS, and notifications.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to support continuous testing.
Leverage tools such as Appium, XCTest, Espresso, or Cypress to validate app performance and functionality.
Document test strategies, coverage, and results clearly for stakeholder visibility.
**Requirements**:
5+ years of experience in Automation QA, with at least 2 years in wearable or IoT device testing.
Strong experience with test automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCTest,



or Robot Framework.
Experience testing BLE connectivity, data sync, and power consumption of wearable devices.
Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript).
Familiarity with mobile test frameworks (Android/iOS), REST APIs, and cloud backend validation.
Understanding of agile development methodologies and tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
**Nice to have**:
Experience working with Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, Wear OS, or custom health trackers.
Exposure to health/fitness data standards like HL7, FHIR, or Apple HealthKit/Google Fit.
Experience in firmware QA, including OTA (Over-The-Air) updates and recovery scenarios.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and containerized test environments.
ISTQB or similar certification in Software Testing (optional but preferred).
