**Bookkeeper**:
We are seeking a Bookkeeper who will play a crucial role in managing our financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring smooth bookkeeping operations. This position is adecuado for someone who is highly organized, tech-savvy, and committed to precision in financial reporting.This is a 100% remote position, with daily phone communications to vendors and field employees to be sure payments are being made.
We're a startup with a purpose focused on rebuilding Altadena, CA after the wildfire, with resilience, smart design, and a deep respect for craftsmanship. Led by a seasoned homebuilder with 25 years of experience, we're growing fast and looking for team members who want to grow with us.
**Responsibilities**:
- Process and manage payroll accurately and on time.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- AR / AP and invoicing
- Utilize bookkeeping software to maintain financial records.




- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Assist with financial reporting and budget preparation.
- Maintain accurate records for job costing and project-related expenses.
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping and payroll experience.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online accounting software.
- Willing to learn Maker's Hub (A/P; makershub.ai/about/)
- Strong understanding of financial principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
- Bilingual English / Spanish
Compensation:
- Remote position.
- Must be available to work 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST
- Competitive hourly rate $8 to $10 (USD) (We pay any fee )
