We are looking for an experienced **Lead Site Reliability Engineer**to join our team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the Reliability Tooling team, taking responsibility for writing and reviewing code, making key technical decisions, and mentoring engineers within your squad. This position requires a strong grasp of SRE principles and best practices, as well as the ability to lead and support your team in achieving operational excellence.
**Responsibilities**
- Deploy and manage cloud technologies using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), self-healing mechanisms, and automated security strategies
- Develop telemetry, alerting, and response systems to minimize Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR)
- Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to provide technical leadership and deliver high-quality solutions
- Advise on best practices and create tools to promote the adoption of service reliability methods, including sustainable incident management and blameless postmortems
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance reliability, operational efficiency, and system performance
- Write scalable, maintainable, and secure code to improve system performance and functionality
- Foster team-wide engagement in creating thoughtful, high-quality software solutions
- Guide and mentor SREs in both technical and operational aspects of site reliability engineering
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
- A minimum of 1 year of experience leading and managing development teams




- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices
- Background in DevOps, systems engineering, technical operations, or software engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for leveraging technology and a commitment to ongoing learning
- Proven experience working with containers in enterprise production environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, and LXC
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
**Nice to have**
- Experience with Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) or Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef
- Practical experience with Docker in production environments
- Familiarity with tools like GitLab or Jenkins to ensure engineering excellence
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, including PaaS and SaaS solutions
- Experience with deployment tools like Spinnaker
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
