RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for working with cross‑functional groups to coordinate strategies for meeting customer’s requirements in all quality areas that also serve AE’s business needs.
- Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive action due to customer (internal‑external) complaints.
- Define, design, develop and implement SPC tools for assembly tools, manufacturing, and test fixtures.
- Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.
- Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure an appropriate transfer of new products, PPAP.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing activities of receiving/outgoing quality functions.
- Participate in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements.
- Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval requirements and submission.
- Perform weekly, monthly trend analysis and coordinate corrective actions with involved areas.
- Define SPC for manufacturing processes and monitor weekly and monthly performance, implement countermeasures.
- Interact constantly with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Materials, Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC and LEAN tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Proficient knowledge and troubleshooting skills in electronic circuits, components, PCBs, and manufacturing processes.




- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with diagnostic equipment (SEM, EDX, X‑ray analysis, scopes, etc), statistical yield analysis, physical failure, and root‑cause analysis.
- Measurable and extensive experience with influencing and negotiating in complex situations.
- Able to define process criteria to meet product and process requirements.
- Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Excellent computer skills (Statistical Software, Office –Excel–).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong leader and fearless change agent.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Requires minimum 3‑4 year degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Expert in determining root cause of failures, correlating to historical data, and driving corrective action.
- Experience in Electronics Industry preferable.
- Experience in Automotive Industry and/or Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), preferable.

EDUCATION

- Bachelor degree (Manufacturing, Electronic Engineering).
- Six Sigma Certification preferable.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of products and applications and drives improvements in corporate functional capabilities.
- Typically requires a minimum of 7 years engineering experience.
