As a Tax Analyst , you will provide essential support to the International Tax Directors and the Head of Tax in managing our integral tax compliance and reporting obligations. You will help prepare direct tax filings, including corporate income tax and withholding tax, and indirect tax filings such as VAT/GST, sales tax, and excise. You will also support audits and maintain accurate tax records. You will report to the Tax Manager and work four days at our site in San Ángel, CDMX and one home office day.

Responsibilities

- Filing of all indirect tax reports in compliance with governing laws and regulations.
- Monitor consistency of filed reports to ensure data integrity and legal/tax compliance between multiple filings.
- Maintain VAT related tables in SAP.
- Prepare documentation for requests made by Tax Authorities in case of inquiries or tax investigations.

Financial Analysis

- Perform analytical review of relevant balance‑sheet accounts and investigate abnormal payments, providing reasons for major movements.
- Prepare analysis on a monthly basis for multiple fiscal reporting.
- Perform any other ad‑hoc reporting by the finance team.

General

- Help prepare corporate income tax,



withholding tax, and indirect tax returns (VAT/GST, sales tax, excise) across multiple jurisdictions.
- Help reconcile tax accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting of tax positions.
- Gather and prepare documentation for tax audits, reviews, and internal or external inquiries.
- Help monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, reporting main updates to senior tax leaders.
- Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of tax compliance tools, systems, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with finance and business teams to ensure tax treatment of transactions and accurate data for filings.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in taxation, accounting, or finance (internship or junior experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of customs and import/export regulations.
- Experience with SAP and SAP‑GTS.
