At RES, we are currently looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Procurement & Logistics team.
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating the procurement team to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of spare parts, materials, tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), consumables, and MRO supplies that support the operation and maintenance of renewable energy assets. This role drives supplier performance, procurement efficiency, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with corporate Supply Chain policies and service level expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Procurement team, ensuring the achievement of sourcing objectives related to cost, quality, service, and delivery performance.
- Plan and prioritize procurement activities to support operations, maintenance, and project requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from purchase requisition through supplier delivery, ensuring compliance with corporate procurement procedures.
- Manage the sourcing of spare parts, PPE, tools, consumables,
and MRO materials required for renewable energy operations.
- Negotiate commercial agreements with strategic suppliers, securing competitive pricing, lead times, quality standards, warranties, and long-term supply agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), driving supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and Project teams to ensure material availability and alignment with business priorities.
- Monitor critical purchase orders, supply risks, and high-priority materials, implementing mitigation plans to avoid operational disruptions.
- Analyze procurement KPIs and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, procurement cycle times, supplier performance, SLA compliance, and overall operational effectiveness.
- Promote process standardization, policy compliance, team development, and continuous improvement across the Supply Chain function.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Electronic, Electromechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- Alternatively, a degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Administration, or a related discipline.
- Intermediate English required.
- MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain,
Engineering, Science, or Renewable Energy preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing.
- Minimum of 2 years leading procurement or purchasing teams.
- Experience within renewable energy, utilities, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, mining, or oil & gas industries.
- Experience managing strategic suppliers and procurement contracts.
- Renewable asset maintenance experience is highly desirable.
