**SUMMARY**
Aids and supports sales in customer service activities.
Maintains customer relations,
handles customer issues and utilizes systems to process data.
Responds to customer
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Engages with customers concerning new and existing purchase orders or quotes, documenting any changes.
Keeps all customer records and information updated and accurate.
- Prepares customer product expectation/price quotations.
Enters and acknowledges customer orders.
Maintains Customer due dates on orders.
Maintain shipping schedule and information.
- Coordinates product shipments with internal departments including but not limited to scheduling, production, warehouse, and finance
- Documents and resolves customer issues and complaints regarding order status, warranties, damage, freight claims, credits, special invoices, and any other issues utilizing appropriate systems
- Understands and applies quality standards applicable to the position and maintains standard operating procedures in document control files
- Stays abreast of customer orders and maintains related information to ensure timely and accurate production and shipment of product
- Orders management within customers' supplier portals; may include accepting or rejecting orders




- Engages with customer accounts payable department to resolve any past due invoices, assuming alignment with finance department
- Processes and provides commercial invoices and customs documentation for international shipments
- Creates reports and correspondence for customer and department use, miscellaneous clerical functions, including typing, filing, data entry, answering telephones, covering for other personnel within the department in their absence
- Assists the Sales Department as needed during absences
- Prepares Customer reports needed on sales activities
- Expresses observations for process improvement that help drive revenue or cut costs
- Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as company policies and procedures
**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
- Two years education from college or technical school, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency on an IBM compatible PC using Microsoft Word, Excel Windows.
- Experience with ERP and CRM online computer systems
**LANGUAGE SKILLS**
Fluency in English is required.
The ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and the ability to effectively present information to all levels of employees including top management in a variety of settings is required.
The ability to read and interpret documents such as customer specification sheets and procedure manuals is required.
Employee must have the ability to construct reports and correspondence and be able to call potential customers for the purpose of business solicitation and clarification.
**WORK AVAILABLITY AND TRAVEL**
Must have the ability to work all shift schedules, periodic overtime and be available for periodic weekend work.
