Fraud Prevention ManagerRole Purpose:Lead the banking strategy and chargeback management function within the eCommerce Fraud Prevention ecosystem. Drive the development and implementation of advanced analytical models to identify growth and risk opportunities, enabling data-driven decisions that maximize business profitability while minimizing fraud exposure.Key Responsibilities:- Lead, design, and implement innovative analytical solutions to strengthen eCommerce fraud prevention capabilities.- Identify, assess, and mitigate fraud risks through the proactive deployment of real-time predictive solutions.- Oversee the development and optimization of data-driven business strategies focused on reducing fraud losses and minimizing false positives.- Design and execute A/B testing initiatives to validate and continuously improve fraud prevention strategies.- Partner with integral teams to define priorities, align objectives, and ensure successful execution of key initiatives.- Collaborate closely with Risk Management and strategic stakeholders to enhance predictive models and decisioning frameworks.- Drive process automation and operational efficiency while managing large-scale data environments.- Engage effectively with senior leadership and executive stakeholders, presenting business recommendations and strategic insights.- Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to communicate analytical findings and business performance.Qualifications:Education- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.Experience- 5+ years of experience in analytics-driven risk management functions.- 5+ years of experience at fraud prevention management- 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams and strategic initiatives.- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing analytical and predictive models,
from design and coding through production deployment.- Strong knowledge of the banking industry, eCommerce ecosystems, payment processing, and chargeback management.- Proven experience implementing real-time predictive and decisioning solutions.- Demonstrated success applying advanced analytics within fraud prevention and/or financial risk environments.- Strong proficiency in SAS, R, Python, SQL, and Power BI.- Experience supporting senior management decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations.- Expertise in developing, monitoring, and continuously improving Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).Technical Skills- Advanced Python- Advanced SQL- Machine Learning and Deep Learning model development and deployment- Advanced Power BI- Process optimization and automation- Data analytics and predictive modelingLanguage Requirements- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)At Walmart de México y Centroamérica, we are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
