We are seeking a regional Compensation and Benefits Manager. This position will periodically evaluate the effectiveness of the organizational structure through proper job evaluation, as well as keep salary scales up to date based on the size, location, and production levels of each of the group’s companies.
Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for calculating the costs of Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), administering the social welfare plan within approved budgets, and proposing, updating, and auditing the Company’s policies on salary, compensation, and benefits management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation and updating of the organizational structures of the business units, applying standardized job evaluation methodologies to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Define and maintain up-to-date salary and wage scales, constantly adjusting them according to location, plant size, production indicators, and labor market conditions.
- Coordinate the comprehensive cost analysis of Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), analyzing the financial impact of negotiations and ensuring alignment with each company’s operating budgets.
- Prepare, consolidate, and execute the annual labor budget for the entire group, closely monitoring deviations on a monthly basis and proposing corrective measures.
- Design and implement variable incentive models and productivity bonuses linked to key performance indicators (KPIs),
ensuring they drive operational efficiency in the manufacturing environment.
- Manage and optimize social welfare plans, ensuring that the benefits provided comply with current tax regulations and remain within the allocated budgetary limits.
- Ensure full compliance with labor, tax, and social security obligations (LFT, LISR, LSS) through the expert use of government platforms (IMSS, SAT, INFONAVIT) and periodic internal audits.
- Propose, document, and oversee the implementation of general compensation and benefits policies, ensuring operational consistency across all facilities and the proper integration of processes into the HRIS system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Psychology, Finance, or related fields.
- More than 5 years of experience in compensation within corporate environments or companies in the manufacturing sector.
- Intermediate-level English (spoken and written).
- Solid experience in payroll costing and designing productivity incentive models.
- Proficiency in job evaluation methodologies and the design of compensation policies.
- Up-to-date knowledge of tax and labor laws (Federal Labor Law, Income Tax Law, Social Security Law).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Specialized use of government portals for validating corporate compliance (IMSS’s IDSE and SUA, SIPARE, and the SAT and INFONAVIT inquiry portals).
