We are hiring an Finance Supervisor who will lead the Accounts Payable and Cash team in Mexico. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence across AP and banking processes, supporting compliance and accuracy, and developing the team while collaborating with regional and global finance partners. Supporting Meaningful Work Supervise daily Accounts Payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and ERP transactions.
Oversee supplier account reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies, providing guidance to the team on complex issues.
Manage and oversee payment processes and banking activities, including disbursements, bank fees, and cash-related entries for Mexico and USA.
Manage weekly cash forecasting and collaborate with Global Treasury to ensure accurate cash planning.
Review and approve account reconciliations and journal entries related to AP and Cash.
Lead month-end close activities for AP and Cash, ensuring accuracy for corporate and statutory reporting.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and complete responses.
Ensure implementation and compliance with internal controls, including SOX requirements and account reconciliations.
Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives within AP and Cash functions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with senior stakeholders to support business needs.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance roles, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, banking operations, and internal controls.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of US GAAP and local accounting standards (Mexican GAAP) preferred.
Effective communication skills in English (advanced level required).
