Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
The Americas Cash Accounting associate role is a position within the Americas Controller organization. This role will work closely with other members of the Finance organization, especially members of Treasury, Tax, Consolidations, AP, AR, and Regional Shared Service teams. The Associate will be responsible for supporting the largest U.S. and Mexico based cash generating entities.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Perform all related cash related journal entries, financial flux, key judgments, internal controls, and management reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the U.S. based and Mexico cash generating entities.
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to be reviewed by Team Lead.
- Identify and cultivate productive relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
- Prepare key ad-hoc reporting and analysis requested by senior leadership.
- Consistently improve process and functional performance through innovative approaches to challenges.
- Identify, solve, and/or escalate accounting issues to Team Lead, where applicable.




- Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Required Education Level
- ** Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related discipline, strongly preferred.**:
- CPA or equivalent, preferred.
Required Experience
- ** Minimum 1 year public accounting or private accounting experience, required.**:
- ** Bilingual English/Spanish, required**:
- Cash accounting experience, strongly preferred.
- General ledger accounting, strongly preferred.
