We are seeking a talented **Senior Data and BI Analyst** to join our team and drive actionable insights through advanced data analysis and business intelligence reporting.
**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and design tailored solutions
- Participate in meetings to elicit data needs and ensure effective solution alignment
- Perform audits, quality reviews, and ensure data integrity through ad-hoc analysis
- Examine and troubleshoot issues within data warehouse processes or interfaces
- Recommend changes to systems for enhanced reporting and data performance
- Engage in proactive problem-solving with mínimal supervision when challenges arise
- Utilize SQL and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI to deliver insights
- Identify and document business requirements, translating them into data specifications
- Summarize findings for executive-level communication and decision-making
- Streamline processes to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing goals
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in areas such as data science, analytics, finance, or engineering (or commensurate experience), MBA preferred
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in data analysis or BI roles
- Advanced competency in visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other BI software
- Proficiency in SQL, relational/dimensional database structures, and data extraction methodologies
- Expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint including advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA, and charting
- Capability to summarize complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for management
- Demonstrated experience in working effectively across independent and team environments
- Understanding of data processes with the flexibility to adjust workflows based on priorities
