**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee and manage all general ledger activity and month-end/year-end closing processes
- Maintain strict compliance with US GAAP and internal control policies
- Lead preparation and submission of financial statements and reports
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of federal (IRS), state (CDFTA, FTB), and local tax filings, including sales tax returns
- Manage and review accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
- Handle all audits and liaise with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and tax authorities
- Supervise daily accounting operations and lead a team of accounting professionals
- Drive continuous process improvements and financial reporting automation
- Provide strategic financial insights and support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Maintain and optimize use of QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance for internal and external audit requirements
- Evaluate accounting systems and implement improvements as needed
- Able to manage a big team
**Required Qualifications**:
- CPA (U.S.) certification or equivalent international credential
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- **10-15 years of accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting background**:




- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop and online versions)
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, debits and credits, and general accounting practices
- Strong understanding of IRS regulations, CDFTA, FTB, and sales tax laws
- Experience managing AP and AR processes end-to-end
- Proven leadership in managing accounting teams and implementing best practices
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong ethical standards and high level of integrity
- Experience in multi-entity or multi-state business operations
- Familiarity with industry-specific accounting software or ERP systems
- Prior experience in internal controls design and risk management
