**Nidec AMEC**, a leading global manufacturer, is searching for a highly skilled and results-driven **Maintenance Engineer** to join our team in **Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua, México**.
This key role directs and coordinates technician activities, focused on maintaining all automated processes and equipment systems to ensure operational safety, quality standards, and corporate objectives are consistently met.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Personnel Supervision & Development**: Directly supervise maintenance technicians. Coordinate their activities, manage spare parts/documentation, and develop **cross-training plans** to achieve high versatility.
- **Maintenance Strategy (TPM)**: Implement, update, and ensure **100% accomplishment** of Preventive Maintenance and Auto-Maintenance Plans. Lead **TPM** workshops and participate in continuous improvement activities (SMED).
- **Performance Metrics**: Drive operational improvements to meet maintenance KPIs, specifically aiming to **reduce MTTR** (Mean Time To Repair) and **increase MTBF** (Mean Time Between Failures).
- **Failure Analysis**: Lead problem-solving teams using advanced methodologies (PDCA, 5 Whys?, Fishbone, Pareto Analysis) to quickly analyze failures and implement corrective actions.
- **Compliance**: Ensure full adherence to **IATF 16949 Quality System** and **ISO 14001 Environmental** standards, including chemical handling and waste disposal procedures.
- **Safety Authority**: Guarantee that all equipment safety devices are operational and that personnel respect and follow all safety rules (with authority to stop production if safety or quality risks are present).
**Required Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical,



or Electronic Engineering.
- **Experience**:3-5 years** of progressive experience in a similar maintenance role.
- **Advanced Technical Expertise (Minimum 5 years combined experience in these technologies)**:
- Heat treatment
- Spot Resistance welding
- Injection Molding
- Aluminum Casting
- **PLC Skills**:Advanced level** proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Keyence).
- **Language**:Advanced English** proficiency (**90% or higher**) is mandatory.
- **Core Competencies**: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, ability to read schematics/drawings, team leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive, rigorous approach to work.
