We are currently seeking a Database Admin Specialist Advisor to join our team in Mexico City, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).
- Provide architecture development, design, implementation, upgrading, administration, and management for Enterprise and Standard Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) databases
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server in non-production environments
- Provide strategic database recommendations for implementation of future database releases
- Adhere to and implement recommended methodologies to enforce standardization and flexibility across the databases
- Be capable of implementing physical data structures and automated database process programming that reach across both structured and unstructured data sources
- Configure databases to provide a wide range of services for the ingesting, storage,



access, analytics, and processing of data
- Configure and administer High Availability Solutions like Database Mirroring, Replication, Log shipping, and multi-node 27 SQL Server clustering
- Conduct capacity planning, performance testing, and tuning as needed
- Monitor and report database metrics for decision making purposes on the lower environments
**What you will bring**:
- 7 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role
- Critical thinker and problem solving skills
**Education/Course of Study**:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or other related discipline
