We are seeking a talented **Material Planner (Temporary, 12- month contract)** to join our team specializing in **Supply Chain** for our **Cummins Grupo Industrial** in **Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. (100% on site)**
**Job Summary**
Responsible for balancing material supply with incoming demand in alignment with site stocking strategies. Ensures production and operations have timely and sufficient availability of required materials while maintaining strong supplier management and adjusting supplier orders as needed. Works closely with key stakeholders to implement and execute supply adjustments effectively.
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**:
- Manage the site material plan based on supply requirements.
- Maintain accuracy of supplier schedules and updates.
- Manage exceptions generated from the Advanced Planning System and balance supplier capability with plant needs.
- Monitor supplier commitments and assess impact on production build plans.
- Colaborate with global team for allocation of constrained supply.
- Generate and validate supplier scorecards.
- Monitor supplier performance, drive accountability, and escalate risks to Supply Continuity teams when needed.
- Collaborate with demand and supply planning teams to assess demand changes and associated risks.
- Analyze and improve key performance indicators.
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Upper Intermediate English (Conversational English proficiency)
- Knowledge of MRP systems.
- 1-2 years experience as a Material Planner or Logistics Analyst
**Nice to have skills**:
- Logistics knowledge
- Oracle experience
- Experience in customer demanding planning
**Education, Licenses, Certifications**:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related.
**Experience**:
1-2 years experience as a Material Planner or Logistics Analyst
