Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day HR operations and labor relations for the assigned workforce, ensuring strict compliance with internal regulations, benefits delivery, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) to foster a positive workplace climate and prevent labor disputes.
- Manage unionized staff headcount/workforce (HC: 500 FTEs)
- Maintain an up-to-date database of the department's personnel.
- Monitor turnover and absenteeism metrics, and generate reports to be published by the communications lead.
- Address employee needs and provide solutions in alignment with organizational guidelines.
- Administer the Internal Work Regulations and the Collective Bargaining Agreement to prevent labor disputes.
- Follow up on temporary contracts for newly hired personnel.
- Manage general conditions like transportation and canteen services, ensuring they meet quality standards and remain cost-effective.
- Verify that benefits offered by AS are granted accurately and on time.
- Maintain a close relationship with union representatives to ensure optimal communication channels,
preventing and resolving labor conflicts (including attending weekly meetings).
- Coordinate workplace climate surveys and implement necessary actions to improve staff satisfaction rates.
- Track and follow up on salary increases for both permanent and temporary staff.
- Manage employee onboarding and status changes (hires, terminations, and modifications) within company systems.
