We are looking for a Cost Specialist to optimize financial efficiency through cost control and analysis, ensuring company profitability through the proper execution of processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Cost and accounts receivable analysis and management.
- Monthly financial close with a focus on inventory and costs.
- Support the Controllership team with inventory, cost, revaluation, and annual plan reports.
- Product costing and transfer pricing determination.
- Cost analysis for new products in coordination with Engineering.
- Evaluation of production process costs and proposal of cost-reduction actions.
- Inventory management and control, including cost variance analysis.




- Cost allocation and analysis for corporate reporting and variance explanations.
- Customer portfolio management and issuance of account statements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Public Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Cost Accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles (MX GAAP and US GAAP).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP and Oracle preferred) and spreadsheets.
- Ability to build financial models and manage projects and costs.
- Basic knowledge of economic principles.
- Strong numerical analysis and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication.
- Teamwork-oriented.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
