Job Description
- Accounting Support: Checks and verifies cost accounting, accounts payable records, prepares invoices and vouchers, types, files, posts ledger and general journal entries, balances accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Use office automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects, and respond to inquiries.
- Reconcile difficult accounts and maintain a complete set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting.
- Accountant (General): Develop, implement, and/or maintain accounting systems including journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue reconciliation, etc.
- Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations.
- Balance books and prepare profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet statements.




- Monitor and develop monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects.
- Provide records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
- Prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns as needed.
- Assist in setting up processes that properly capture, track, and report revenue in accordance with the revenue recognition policy.
- Generate revenue reports for internal or external use and interpret reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Review, track, and maintain billing information in financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other regulations.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: none.
- Job Level Description: Works on defined tasks that sometimes require independent judgment; developing individual contributor.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of related experience.
