Job Description Production SupervisorThe Production Supervisor is responsible for meeting Safety, Production, Quality, and On-Time Delivery objectives.Responsibilities:Ensure production targets are met.Prepare overtime request forms.Attend meetings to review supervisors' metrics.Participate in safety training sessions.Review risk analyses.Conduct safety talks (Toolbox Talks).
Follow up on quality rejections and develop action plans.Implement and carry out any activities assigned by the manager.Ensure compliance with 5S standards within the area.Comply with all safety requirements.Ensure product quality.Enter production data into the M3 system.Report equipment failures.Manage performance evaluations.Monitor employee attendance and permissions.Participate in accident prevention initiatives.Coordinate necessary shift changes.Generate personnel requisitions.Maintain team discipline.Issue disciplinary notices when required.Knowledge and Experience:Knowledge of injection molding machines.Personnel management skills.Teamwork skills.Knowledge of 5S methodology.Victaulic is a leader in pipe joining solutions, with over 5,500 employees involved in some of the most prestigious construction projects worldwide.
