**Schedule**: Monday - Friday 8.00 am - 5.00 pm
Overall Position Description
Supervise a fast-paced environment compliance team.
Should possess an in-depth knowledge of all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and the ability to professionally communicate with Driver employees and in-office employees while maintaining a positive team-oriented attitude.
Person must be organized and engaged with the team.
**Duties and Responsibilities**: The Logs Supervisor will be responsible for the Log Auditor team's performance, who act as a primary point of contact for the company's current drivers and operations teams.
The Logs department is responsible for educating and retraining drivers who are in noncompliance with Federal, State, and Local Laws, and Company Policies relating to Hours-of-Service Rules.
The primary goal is to protect the organization, and its drivers,



from legal compliance risk through proper and thorough management of non-compliant drivers via education and/or discipline, up to and including termination of employment.
**Primary functions**:
- Operational oversight that includes organizing the team's daily activities, ensuring they run smoothly and according to procedure.
Monitor workflows, organize schedules and maintain productivity.
Track team and individual performance metrics.
Conduct evaluations and provide feedback.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Enforce company policies and safety standards as well as compliance requirements and help identify and resolve operational issues quickly.
- Provide training, coaching and mentoring for Log Auditors.
Help motivate the team and maintain morale.
Handle employee concerns and escalate when necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and act as a link between the team and upper management.
- Manage and make unilateral decisions related to reeducation and discipline of non-compliant drivers, including termination of employment.
- Fill in as acting Logs Manager during manager's absence.
- Be adaptable to changes in procedures and policies within the Logs Department and with DOT regulations.
- Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision
- Always conduct self in a manner that reflects a positive, professional image.




Must maintain a high standard of personal grooming and follow all uniform guidelines per the position and company policies.

- Adheres to all policies and procedures set forth by the Corporation and ensures that all employees are knowledgeable of and adhere to all standards set for by the Corporation.
**Education and Experience**:
- 4-year College Degree strongly preferred.
- One or more years of experience in the transportation industry is preferred, ideally in a compliance environment.
- Stable work history.
- Strong detail orientation and excellent communication/listening skills.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Ability to multitask is idóneo.
- Developed sense of integrity and commitment to driver satisfaction.
- Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM.
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite
- Energetic, enthusiastic self-starter with excellent organizational, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with mínimal supervision, exercise judgment and adapt directions from one assignment to another
- Ability to maintain professionalism when communicating with team and management.
- Be dependable and take ownership of work processes
