**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**
Senior Accountant with proven expertise in comprehensive accounting, team management, and tax compliance and declarations.
This position requires a professional with solid academic training, leadership, and the ability to handle complex accounting operations in corporate environments.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Comprehensive Accounting & Tax Compliance**:
- Financial statement consolidation and closing
- ISR, IVA, and DIOT declarations and filings
- SAT online portal and tax registry management
- CFDI generation and control
- Payroll processing and social security (IMSS, INFONAVIT, SINDO, SUA)
- **Leadership & Management**:
- Supervise and develop accounting team
- Establish methodologies, standards, and controls
- Process optimization and continuous improvement
- **Internal Controls & Analysis**:
- Design and implement internal controls
- Bank and asset reconciliations
- Fixed asset and inventory control
- Internal audits
- **Financial Reporting**:
- Executive reports for Management
- Financial and budgetary analysis
- Cash flow projections
**ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL PROFILE**
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Accounting or Finance
- Current Professional License (Cédula Competente)
- Desirable: Master's or Specialization in Accounting/Finance
**Professional Experience**:




- Minimum 5-7 years in accounting functions
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in tax declarations and SAT filings
- Minimum 2-3 years in supervisory/management position
**CRITICAL TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES**
**Software & Systems**:
- Payroll, and Banking
- Advanced Excel: pivot tables, dashboards, financial analysis
- SAT Online Portal: DIOT, CFDI, tax declarations
- ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar - desirable)
**Tax & Accounting Expertise**
- ISR (Income Tax): calculation, quarterly and annual filings
- IVA (Value Added Tax): determination and declarations
- DIOT preparation and timely filing
- CFDI generation, custody, and control
- Comprehensive payroll: IMSS, INFONAVIT, SINDO, SUA
- Tax withholdings management
- Knowledge of Mexican tax reforms and regulatory changes
- NIF (Mexican Financial Information Standards)
