Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr Material Planning Analyst located in Guadalajara, North Campus._
- Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Sr.
Material Planning Analyst role involves being responsible for developing, directing and coordinating material planning activities.
Enhance customer service levels possible by balancing supply and demand._
- What a typical day looks like:_
- _Directs the team in the use of best practices in the daily execution of finished goods and WIP planning._
- _Responsible for the analysis of Excesses and Obsoletes, as well as the collection and recovery with the client through the analysis of Waterfalls._
- _Manages, coaches and mentors a team.
Works with the team on continuous development and performance management._
- _Directs activities of Planners to ensure that inventory level and turn goals are achieved, including reduction of back orders and enhancing customer service._
- _Meets with Senior Management to obtain strategic information that could impact the forecast.
Works with team to modify the forecast for historical and environmental events.




Works closely with different departments to accurately develop and maintain an accurate forecast._
- _Hold cross-functional meetings to review the Supply and Demand plan_
- _Communication with the client for material issues and generation of reports such as What if analysis, CTB, and Charges for PPVs._
- _Review issues and make recommendations that deal with long-term constraints, customer service levels, inventory targets, the current forecast, and backlog._
- The experience we're looking to add to our team:_
- _BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration_
- _Advanced experience in a similar position in the electronics manufacturing industry._
- _Advance experience in planning and manufacturing, including supervision._
- _Strong data analysis knowledge_
- _Strong MRP Knowledge_
- _Advanced English_
- _Advanced Excel_
- _Assertive communication skills to internal and external customer: verbal and written._
- _Able to build strong relationships._
- _Knowledge and management of top level assemblies._
- _Results oriented._
- _Direct materials management experience for factories preferred._
- _Ability to work as a team member and/or a team leader if necessary._
- _Excellent interpersonal skills and work well with all levels of management and staff._
- _Strong experience on efficient control._
- _Strong organizational time management skills_
- _Experience with databases such as Kinaxis._
- _Backlog Management._
- _BTO Management desired._
