We are looking for a talented **Site Quality Engineer - Senior** to join our team specializing in **Quality** for our **CUMMINS** in **San Luis Potosí, S.L.P.**
**Job Summary**:
The Site Quality Engineer - Senior creates value for their assigned site by leading continuous improvement projects towards defect-free processes that satisfy customer needs and achieve business results.
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**:
- Leads Product and process Failure Reporting and Corrective/Preventive Action Systems making.
- Leads Problem Solving methodology for internal issues and external customer claims ( 7 Steps, 8D ́s 6S RCA, FTA 5WHYs )
- Follow up to internal and external actions to demonstrate the leadership to close on time and fast response to the customer.
- Follow up to Nonconforming material reports and trend analysis to act on time to improve the key indicators.
- Technical customer Management and direct contact.
- Liaison between the customer and plant support to keep the well customer relation.
- To Ensure,



leads and act on time to the containment activities for internal and external quality issues.
- Core tools (PFMEA, CONTROL PLAN, MSA, SPC, APQP) GD&T;, PPAP, ISO and IATF*****.
- Customer specific requirements experience.
**To be successful in this role you will need the following**:
- Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area and machining solid experience demonstrated is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making customer experience.
- Machining process knowledge is required.
- Advanced English level.
