**Responsibilities**
- Lead the design, development, and training of machine learning models using Google's AI stack including AI Agent Studio, Gemini, and Vertex AI
- Direct and support cross-functional teams in creating AI solutions such as a Sales team assistant and document base analyzer
- Oversee the seamless integration of trained machine learning models into the existing toolset
- Mentor team members in writing and maintaining clean, efficient code in Python and ideally in Java
- Supervise the continuous evaluation and enhancement of deployed models to meet the evolving demands of the business
- Keep the team updated with the latest AI/ML technologies and methodologies, promoting ongoing innovation
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of experience in ML/AI Engineering
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- Extensive experience in training and deploying machine learning models using Google's AI stack (AI Agent Studio, Gemini, Vertex AI)
- Expert programming skills in Python
- Proven track record in leading the integration of ML models into software environments and toolsets
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent skills in managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Superior communication skills for effectively articulating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
**Nice to have**
- Experience in Java
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
