Our client school is seeking a Mexican Primary multi-grade teacher to teach grades 3 and 4.
For our school and to comply with SEP requirements, teachers must have a Mexican diploma with SEP authorization.
(It is possible to go through a validation process, but it is long and tedious, so given the short time frame we have, we will not move forward with candidates that are not locally certified)
Must be in Mexico, English speaking, SEP certified and legally in Mexico.
The School is a small multicultural learning community located on the beautiful Costalegre coast of Mexico. It is south of Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific coast.

Qualifications:
Bilingual – Spanish and English - Professional level
University Teacher Certification or education degree
Successful experience teaching Primary students in English and Spanish
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Understanding of multi-cultural,



multiage classrooms
Energetic, creative and versátil
Ability and commitment to work collaboratively with students, staff, parents and community
Teacher must be accredited by Mexican SEP in compliance with local regulations
Responsibilities:
Use a variety of instructional and learning strategies that meet the learning needs of all learners in the class such as individualized, experiential, inquiry, group discussions and differentiated instruction
Provide a positive learning environment in the classroom and evidence of strong classroom management skills
Provide experience that enhance the opportunity to develop responsibility, leadership competencies, cooperation and self direction
Willingness to work flexibly with multilingual students from diverse backgrounds
Use assessment to provide feedback and report on student academic and social progress to students and parents through oral and written communication
Ability and commitment to work collaboratively with students, staff, parents and community
Ability to integrate technology into the learning environment
Provide written plans of instruction as required by administrative direction
