Will be responsible for executing strategic
sourcing projects covering various categories ranging from raw materials,
packaging materials, CAPEX/MRO, and general services.
The role will primarily support our
manufacturing facility in Mexicali, Mexico, but may also lead projects for our
European and Asian geographies as needed.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Partner with internal stakeholder groups
- (Operations, Engineering, Quality, etc.).
- Utilize market intelligence resources to identify potential suppliers, assess market trends, and build should-cost models.
- Build and execute Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to collect supplier proposals.
- Lead supplier negotiations and contracting to maximize value to Footprint via cost reductions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to qualify and onboard new suppliers.
- Routinely track and report on cost savings achieved through strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define
- Service-level Agreements and Key Performance.
- Cost optimization should be actively pursued by
- reducing consumption and eliminating waste in the manufacturing process.




Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in business administration,
- Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in
- procurement, supply chain management, or a related field,
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to deal effectively with time

- industrial environment
