Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Plant Manager
to lead and oversee daily operations at our protective fabric manufacturing facility in the
Mexico City area
. This position is critical to ensuring high-quality, efficient, and safe production — with a strong focus on
weaving operations
. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex textile manufacturing environments and a deep understanding of woven fabric production, ideally for flame-resistant or high-performance textile markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full leadership and operational oversight for all plant functions including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics.
Manage and optimize weaving operations with a strong focus on productivity, process efficiency, and quality control.
Implement and enforce best practices in manufacturing, lean production, and continuous improvement.
Lead, develop, and motivate cross-functional plant teams to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals.
Ensure compliance with all local labor, environmental, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with integral operations, supply chain,



and engineering teams to support strategic goals and technical improvements.
Manage plant budgets, costs, and capital investment projects.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of plant management experience
, including
5–8 years directly managing weaving or fabric manufacturing operations
.
Strong knowledge of protective textiles, woven fabric technologies, and quality systems.
Proven ability to lead large teams in high-volume manufacturing environments.
Fluency in
Spanish preferred
; English proficiency is a plus.
Must be based in or willing to relocate to the
Mexico City area
.
