Quality Engineer – Automation Coordination

General description

- Participates in Quality Assurance of deliverables by defining and executing Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression and E2E Testing as required

- Develops test automation strategy for the team’s application portfolio, to leverage DevOps best practices and available tools

- Plans and coordinates team´s activities to ensure test automation plans and execution meet targets

- Defines routines to identify test cases that should or should not be automated for each release

- Defines process to refine regression test suite to keep updated and efficient and follows up on activities

- Works side by side with development and business partners to determine optimal test coverage to ensure high quality software is delivered to our customers

- Creates and executes automated testing as needed

- Works closely with onshore and offshore team members to ensure completion of deliverables.

Required Skills (Must have these skills to be qualified):





- Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment

- Excellent communication skills and able to collaborate with development team, integral teams, and other partners

- Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies, experience performing Functional, Integration, Regression and E2E testing

- Experience working under Agile framework and tools

- Ability to own, drive and deliver on functions and collaborate on multiple projects

- Ability to research and analyze product features being tested to identify potential issues

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Ability to work under tight schedule

- Ability to plan and coordinate team activities

- English is a must

- Tester will interact daily with teams in the US and India

- Working experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, cucumber and Java.

- Experience with Test Management tools like HP-ALM QC/Qtest, and Defect Management Process
