**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design and Development: Utilize NX software and other design tools to create and develop interior components, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
- Release Planning: Develop comprehensive release plans for interior component designs, including schedules, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and efficient production
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to validate design integrity, performance, and adherence to industry regulations
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing, and suppliers, to coordinate the release process and resolve any design-related issues.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of materials, prototypes, and tooling necessary for design release activities
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized design documentation, including drawings, specifications,



and release packages
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction while maintaining design excellence
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- **Proven experience in interior component design and release, with a focus on seats, plastics, trim, restraints, cockpit, and lighting**:
- Proficiency in NX, Catia V5, and Teamcenter
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality designs
