**A Day in the Life**:
- Manage the day-to-day monitoring, detection, and response of alerts and requests.
- Help build an innovative DLP strategy and drive the execution.
- Improve workflows and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Leverage AI and automation to improve efficiency where possible.
- Test and implement automated playbooks using log data and security solutions.
- Develop key performance indicators that showcase the team's value and areas of opportunity.
**Keys to Success**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience acceptable
- Relevant technical certifications are a plus, such as GCIH, GSOC, CSA, Security+, etc.
**Experience**:




- 5+ years of IT, Cyber Security, or related experience
- People leader experience preferred
- Experience as Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 support a plus
- DLP, insider threat, or security operations experience a plus
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, IRM, SOAR, and or UEBA solutions a plus
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:
- Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication required
- Strong problem-solving skills to make informed judgment and decision-making
- Investigative and analytical skills are a must
- In-depth understanding of DLP and insider threat concepts and methodologies
- Proficient leadership skills to positively influence a team
